✝️ I Am a Living, Walking Testimony

By Willie T. Ayers – A Veteran for Christ

“I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation…” — Romans 1:16

A Message to All Who Read

Blessings in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I don’t have degrees in theology. I’ve never trained in writing. But I have lived through fire. Through every trial, every miracle, and every valley — God’s hand has held me firm.

This testimony is for His glory.

🙌 God’s Hand Was on Me—Even Then

I am a U.S. Army veteran with service-connected disabilities, including PTSD. But my identity is not in a diagnosis.

My identity is in Christ.

September 27, 1963 — At 9 years old in Cleveland, Ohio, I was struck by a car traveling over 90 mph.

I lived.

💥 The Enemy Tried—But God Protected

  • 1965 — A truck exploded while I was inside. No injuries.
  • Flipped M113 APC during military service — only a scar.
  • M60 fired feet from me — untouched.
  • Live grenade dropped — thrown before explosion.
  • Totaled car accident in Germany — walked away unbruised.

Satan tried — but God protected me.

🍔 From Wandering to Divine Direction

After the military, I spiraled into alcohol and drifted from motel to motel.

That was divine appointment.

💞 God Gave Me Deanna

My wife. My anchor. My blessing.

Jesus never promised ease — but He promised we would never walk alone.

⚕️ Affliction Met With Faith

  • Multiple surgeries
  • Thoracic laminectomy
  • Gout diagnosis
  • Multiple hernias
  • Brain bleed

God’s grace became my foundation.

✨ Why I Still Stand

“With His stripes, we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5
“All things are possible to those who believe.” — Mark 9:23

🙏 Prayer Request

Please pray for my beloved sister, Eva Lee, diagnosed with lymphoma.

🙏 A Prayer of Redemption and Renewal

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in surrender. Redeem every moment of my life. Use every wound to show Your healing power.

Let my testimony give hope to someone still waiting for their breakthrough.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
