Iam a servant of Jesus Christ, saved by His grace and strengthened daily by His Spirit. As a veteran who has faced both the battles of the war that rages within me,and the challenges of disability, I testify that my hope, identity, and purpose are found not in my past or my limitations, but in the life, death, and resurrection of my Lord and Savior.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to redeem the world through His sacrifice on the cross and His victory over the grave. Through Him, I have forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and the assurance of God’s unending love.
Though my body bears wounds and limitations, I rejoice that God’s power is made perfect in weakness. My scars are a reminder that Christ also bore scars for me, and that His suffering brings healing, restoration, and hope. I do not see myself as broken but as a vessel through which God’s strength shines most clearly.
I believe in the authority of the Word of God, the fellowship of the Church, and the promise of the Holy Spirit who guides, comforts, and empowers me each day. My calling now is to live as a witness of Christ’s mercy, to encourage others who face trials, and to serve with courage and humility, just as I once served my country.
I look forward to the day when every tear will be wiped away, when pain and sorrow will be no more, and when I will stand whole before my Savior. Until that day, I will walk by faith, not
